The Children's Advocacy Center -- Hope House is hosting an upcoming Internet Safety Training on Wednesday, August 5, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at ADAPT, 216 Memphis Street, Bogalusa. The free training will discuss the features of various applications, as well as cyberbullying, sextortion, and sexting. It will be facilitated by Brian Brown, Detective and Forensic Examiner with the Covington Police Department and Special Victim Unit Investigator with the 22nd JDC District Attorney's Office. Registration is required. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided. If you register and are unable to attend, please provide at least 24 hours' notice so arrangements can be adjusted.
