1. Mary's Chapel United Methodist Church in Varnado, Louisiana operates a Food Bank serving local residents.  The Food Bank is open on the first Wednesday of each month from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

2. PROJECT ADAPT is offering Peer Support Group Meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-12:00PM at the Bogalusa Mission, located at 510 Derbigny Street, Bogalusa 

3. Our Lady of Angels Hospital is hosting an All Hands on Deck Autism Workshop in their Conference Room on July 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  Virtual attendance is also available.  For more details, please see the attached flyer.

4. Hope House and Crossroads are sponsoring a Trust-Based Relational Intervention 2-day workshop in Covington on August 27-28 from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.  Cost of the workshop is $50/lunch included.  Please see the attached flyer for details and registration information.

5. Pro Bono Project is at 216 Memphis Street in Bogalusa on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month offering legal resources for the community.

9. WPCHS will have its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 28,2026 located at 216 Memphis St. Bogalusa, LA  at 9:30 am.

10. The Children's Advocacy Center -- Hope House is hosting an upcoming Internet Safety Training  on Wednesday, August 5, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at ADAPT, 216 Memphis Street, Bogalusa.   The free training will discuss the features of various applications, as well as cyberbullying, sextortion, and sexting. It will be facilitated by Brian Brown, Detective and Forensic Examiner with the Covington Police Department and Special Victim Unit Investigator with the 22nd JDC District Attorney's Office.  Registration is required. Complimentary food and beverages will be provided.
